TIGERS FALL IN HOME OPENER
The Tigers lost their home game opener to a tough Arkansas Wildcat team. The Tigers fell behind 12-0 in the 1st quarter when lightning delayed the game for almost 2 hours. When play resumed in the rain soaked game, the Tigers struggled to hold on to the football. The Tigers finished the game with 3 interceptions and 5 fumbles. Coach Sullivan stated, “Ball security was definitely a problem tonight. Against a good team like the Wildcats you simply cannot make those kinds of mistakes.”
The Tigers look to rebound from this loss next weekend when they face the TN Train. The Tigers won their 1st meeting this season 44-14 in Chattanooga. No doubt the Train will come out hungry to redeem themselves against the Tigers. Be sure to come out and support the Tigers as they look to sweep the Train.
